My hometown is Joetsu

I’ll talk about my hometown.  My hometown is Niigata prefecture.  I’d like to introduce two my favorite places.  One of the my favorite places is the ocean.  If you visit Niigata in summer, you can go to the ocean and beach.  The smell is salty.  The view is so good.  We can see Sadogashima beyond the sea on a clear day.  There are a lot of people on the beach and in the sea when the start of the swimming season.  It is so fun to play beach volleyball and to do toy sparklers while talking with family or  friends.  We can also see fireworks at night in the summer festival.  This is a big event in the summer.

While if you visit there in winter, you can ski.  In winter, a skiing ground is always bustling because a lot of snow in Niigata than other prefecture.  I’m proud of the amount of snow.  It’s very cold and inconvenient to traffic, but the amount of snow is also a feature of Niigata.

Sometimes, the tournament of snowball fight is held in skiing ground.

In conclusion, my hometown is a good place not only in summer but also winter!
